From a staged moon landing and a horror film with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating to a Barbie Forteza and David Licauco pairing and the biggest MCU release this year, July is filled with must-see films that are definitely worth going to the theaters for.

“Fly Me to the Moon” – July 10“Fly Me To The Moon” centers around one of the West’s biggest conspiracies: The authenticity of the historic moon landing. NASA, facing mounting international pressure for the success of the mission, enlists the help of marketing expert Kelly Jones (Scarlett Johansson) to prepare a staged Apollo landing as a contingency. Complications arise when she meets mission launch director Cole Davis (Channing Tatum), and the implications of their attempted deception is questioned.
The film is directed by Greg Berlanti and also stars Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber, Donald Elise Watkins, with Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson.
“Longlegs” – July 10Rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes as of writing, “Longlegs” is a must-watch for every horror buff out there. Directed by Oz Perkins and starring Maika Monroe, Nicolas Cage, Alicia Witt, and Blair Underwood, the film follows an FBI agent in pursuit of the satanic serial killer, Longlegs.
“That Kind of Love” – July 10Barbie Forteza and David Licauco come together for a rom-com that will have onlookers smiling ear-to-ear. Directed by Catherine O. Camarillo, “That Kind of Love” pairs up a dating coach and a self-assured executive on the hunt for a partner.
Joining Forteza and Licauco are Al Tantay, Arlene Muhlach, Kaila Estrada, Divine Aucina, Ivan Carapiet, and Jef Gaitan.

“Twisters” – July 17Following his stellar performance in “Hit Man,” Glen Powell dons the persona of a clout-chasing storm chaser who faces an unprecedented natural disaster. Joining Powell are Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, David Corenswet, and more. “Twisters” is directed by Lee Isaac Chung.

“Trap – July 31”Written and directed by the famed M. Night Shyamalan, “Trap” centers around a father and his teen daughter attending a concert. When the man discovers that the police have surrounded the premises in hopes of capturing a known criminal, he soon realizes that it is him they’re looking for.
